Installing Grupo is easy: just upload the files, visit your Grupo web address, enter the required details, and the installer will handle the rest.

Did you know?

We offer free Grupo installation services! We can assist with installing Grupo on your hosting server. All we need are your Codecanyon purchase code and hosting panel credentials. Feel free to contact us at [email protected] for assistance.

To get started:

  1. Set Up Database: Create a database for Grupo on your hosting server, and set up a database user with full privileges to access and modify the database.
  2. Download the Script: Go to Codecanyon and download the latest version of the Grupo Chat Script, which will be a ZIP file.
  3. Extract Files: Decompress the ZIP file you downloaded to a folder on your computer. Then, extract the contents of the “fresh_installation.zip” file to another folder on your computer.
  4. Upload Files: From the fresh_installation.zip file you extracted, upload the entire “chatscript” folder to your web server. Choose the location for Grupo based on your preference.

Please Note: Instead of extracting the “fresh_installation.zip” file on your device and then uploading, you can upload the “fresh_installation.zip” file directly to your hosting server and extract it there. Ensure that your hosting panel’s file manager has the option to extract ZIP files.

For Your Reference:

  • Root Domain: If you want Grupo in the root of your domain (e.g., http://example.com/), move or upload all contents from the unzipped “chatscript” folder (excluding the folder itself) into the root directory of your web server.
  • Subdirectory: If you want Grupo in a subdirectory (e.g., http://example.com/chatroom/), create a “chatroom” directory on your server and upload the contents of the unzipped Grupo package into that directory.

Run the Installation Script: Access the installation script by navigating to the URL where you uploaded the Grupo files in a web browser:

  • If you uploaded Grupo to the root directory, go to: http://example.com/
  • If you uploaded Grupo to a subdirectory called “chatroom,” go to: http://example.com/chatroom/

Follow Instructions: Complete the installation by following the on-screen instructions. Once finished, Grupo Chat should be successfully installed.

Facing a 404 Not Found Error ? If you encounter a 404 error, it could be due to several reasons:

  1. You could be on a new Apache server that isn’t configured to allow rewrite rules. Please refer to the following URL for guidance – Enable Mod_Rewrite.
  2. You might be running on Nginx or Windows Server and haven’t added the Nginx rewrite rules or uploaded the Windows web.config file. Click here to learn more.
  3. If you are using CyberPanel or running on OpenLiteSpeed server, a restart is usually required for changes in the .htaccess file to take effect. Restarting the server ensures that the new configurations are properly applied.
