The Badges module allows you to assign and manage badges for profiles and groups. They can be used to boost user and group engagement, motivating participation and highlighting notable contributions or milestones.

To add a Badge :

  1. Click on the Menu.
  2. Select Modules from the side navigation menu.
  3. Choose Badge.
  4. Click on the Plus Icon at the bottom right of the content area.
  5. On the screen that appears, enter the name of the badge and upload a badge image (which will be displayed on the awarded profile or group’s info page). In the category field, select whether the badge is for a user profile or a group.
  6. Click the “Create” button.

To award a badge to a site user:

  1. Click on the Menu.
  2. Select “Site Users” from the side navigation menu.
  3. Click “View All.”
  4. Click the three dots icon next to the user you want to award a badge to.
  5. Choose “Assign Badges.”
  6. Click the three dots icon next to the badge you want to assign.
  7. Click “Assign.”
  8. Confirm your choice by selecting “Yes” in the confirmation dialog.

To remove an assigned badge, click on the badge in the “Assign Badges” section and select “Remove.”

To award a badge to a group :

  1. Click on the Menu.
  2. Select “Groups” from the side navigation menu.
  3. Click the three dots icon next to the group you want to award a badge to.
  4. Choose “Assign Badges.”
  5. Click the three dots icon next to the badge you want to assign.
  6. Click “Assign.”
  7. Confirm your choice by selecting “Yes” in the confirmation dialog.

To remove an assigned badge, click on the badge in the “Assign Badges” section and select “Remove.”

To edit a Badge:

  1. Click on Menu.
  2. Go to Modules in the side navigation menu.
  3. Select Badges
  4. Click the three dots icon next to the item you want to modify.
  5. Choose “Edit”.
  6. Make the necessary changes in the screen that appears.
  7. Click the “Update” button.

You can create a translation for the badge in each language by selecting the language from the dropdown at the top.

To delete a Badge :

  1. Click on Menu.
  2. Go to Modules in the side navigation menu.
  3. Select Badges.
  4. Click the three dots icon next to the item you want to delete.
  5. Choose “Delete”. A confirmation dialog will appear. Select ‘Yes’ to confirm.

To bulk delete badges :

  1. Click on Menu.
  2. Go to Modules in the side navigation menu.
  3. Select Badges
  4. Click the selection icon at the top right next to the Badges title.
  5. Select the items you want to delete.
  6. Click the X icon that appears at the bottom right.
  7. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
