You can create bulk fake accounts and set them to appear as always online, giving the impression that users are actively engaged on your platform. This feature can be enabled or disabled through the Site Roles module.
To generate bulk test or fake accounts:
- Click on Menu.
- Select Site Users from the side navigation menu.
- Choose “Generate Fake Users”.
- Enter the details in the screen that appears.
- Click the “Update” button.
For Your Reference :
- The locale field allows you to create names in your preferred language.
- You can assign a different site role to fake users using the site role field.
- Select “Yes” in the “Generate profile picture” field to automatically add a profile image to the created fake accounts.
- Choose “Yes” in the “Stay Online” field to show the users as always online.
To display a user as always online:
- Click on Menu.
- Select Site Users from the side navigation menu.
- Choose “Fake Online Users”.
- Click on the Plus Icon at the bottom right of the content area.
- Click the three dots icon next to the user you want to show as online always.
- Choose “Add”.
If you want to add users in bulk, click the selection icon at the top right next to the “Add Fake Users” title, select the users, and then click the “+” (plus) symbol at the bottom right.
To remove the “always online” status for a user:
- Click on Menu.
- Select Site Users from the side navigation menu.
- Choose “Fake Online Users”.
- Click the three dots icon next to the user you want to modify.
- Choose “Remove”.
- A confirmation dialog will appear. Select ‘Yes’ to confirm.
If you want to remove users in bulk, click the selection icon at the top right next to the “Fake Users” title, select the users, and then click the “X” symbol at the bottom right.
