A link filter enables you to remove specific links (as defined by you) that are shared during conversations.

How to enable or disable the Link Filter ?

  1. Click on the Menu.
  2. Select Modules from the side navigation menu.
  3. Choose Link Filter
  4. In the Status field, select your preferred option.
  5. Click the “Update” button.

How to add a website link to the removal list ?

  1. Click on the Menu.
  2. Select Modules from the side navigation menu.
  3. Choose Link Filter
  4. In the blacklist field, enter the domains you want to blacklist, with each domain on a new line.
  5. Click the “Update” button.

Note : To block all domain pages and subpages, just append an asterisk (*) at the end of the domain in your blacklist.

How to prevent users from sharing links ?

  1. Click on the Menu.
  2. Go to “Modules” in the side navigation menu.
  3. Select “Site Roles.”
  4. Click the three dots icon next to the site role you wish to modify
  5. Choose “Edit.”
  6. Deselect the ‘Allow Sharing Links‘ option under the Groups and Private Conversations sections
  7. Click Update

Note : There is also a similar permission available in Group Roles if you want to restrict link sharing for a specific group role.
