The Message Scheduler module allows you to schedule messages to be sent at a specific time in the future.
How to schedule a Message ?
- Click on the Menu.
- Select Modules from the side navigation menu.
- Choose Message Scheduler
- Click on the Plus Icon at the bottom right of the content area.
- In the “Select an Option” field, choose “Create“.
- Enter the details in the screen that appears.
- Click the “Create” button.
Please Note: Ensure you schedule the cron job command provided in the form on your hosting server to run the script automatically at your preferred intervals. This command only needs to be added once.
For Your Information :
- The Group Name field lets you select the group to which you want to send the message.
- The Sender [Username] field allows you to enter the username from which the message will be sent.
- The Send Message On field lets you set the exact time for when the message should be sent.
- The Repeat Messages field enables you to schedule the message to be repeated at specified intervals.
- In the Repetition Rate field, you can set the number of times the message should be repeated. Once the message has been sent the scheduled number of times, it will be automatically deleted from the message scheduler.
How to bulk import scheduled messages?
- Click on the Menu.
- Select Modules from the side navigation menu.
- Choose Message Scheduler
- Click on the Plus Icon at the bottom right of the content area.
- In the “Select an Option” field, choose “Import“.
- On the screen that appears, download the Sample Reference file and open it in your preferred spreadsheet/CSV editor. Add the required fields in each column as indicated in the header, then save the file as a CSV.
- Next, click on the “CSV file” field in the Message Scheduler form to select your CSV file.
- Click the “Create” button.
How to edit a scheduled message ?
- Click on Menu.
- Select Modules from the side navigation menu.
- Choose Message Scheduler
- Click the three dots icon next to the message you want to modify.
- Choose “Edit”.
- Make the necessary changes in the screen that appears.
- Click the “Update” button.
How to delete a scheduled message ?
- Click on Menu.
- Select Modules from the side navigation menu.
- Choose Message Scheduler
- Click the three dots icon next to the item you want to delete.
- Choose “Delete”. A confirmation dialog will appear. Select ‘Yes’ to confirm.
How to bulk delete scheduled messages ?
- Click on Menu.
- Select Modules from the side navigation menu.
- Choose Message Scheduler
- Click the selection icon at the top right next to the Messages title.
- Select the items you want to delete.
- Click the X icon that appears at the bottom right.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
